Diana V I thought it was a good movie, some good acting and some bad. It did have alot of action. Mostly an unknow cast but, I did like the movie. I was glad when he finally found his sister. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Per V The plot thin and a bit squicy, this kan not happen in the real world, the way the plot is put together. That is not the actors fault, they are struggling trough the movie. Fast forward Movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/13/23 Full Review Nick I'm thinking on the lines of Robert E and his review, with the likes of family members and friends to be getting 5 stars or anyway near that, a very B movie for me🤮. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/17/22 Full Review daniel n The premise is good and whilst this movie addresses the important real-world issue of human trafficking, acting is not good and special effects and editing often seems done by the just-hired intern. And, what is up with the 5-star audience reviews? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm sorry. I wanted to like this movie but the longer I watched it the more I realized it was just poorly done. I'm so surprised the audience ratings are so high for this movie. I decided to watch it based on them. I truly believe that most of the people who reviewed this film must have known the actors, directors, producers, etc. because this movie was very flawed and done amateurish. You think this is going to be a movie about a tough and fearless brother who is going after some bad people to save his sister and also make them pay for what they did. Unfortunately, to me, as the movie goes on (and on), the brother is portrayed more and more like an ignorant, helpless, and weak guy trying to go after kidnappers who are smarter and tougher than him. I will give the brother's character determination but besides that, so much is left to be desired. I was done with the movie when they finally caught up with the kidnappers and the brother goes in to the bad guys motor home and finds his sister. While his friend is outside battling with two bad guys the brother is reminiscing with his sister for several minutes like there isn't anything else going on and the danger is over. It was like they were celebrating at the end of a movie when all the bad dudes have been eliminated. Unfortunately, like I said, the friend battling a guy who outweighs him by 50 plus pounds and the other bad guy is looking for bullets so he can start shooting at them again. The director might have just as well had them eat breakfast while his friend was outside battling with two bad guys. This scene could have been a parody of another movie and it would have made more sense. I watch a log of movies and I don't think I'm very picky. This is the first time I've ever written a review. The main reason I did so was because of the high audience ranking which just doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, much of the acting and directing is very poor in my opinion. The movie seemed like it was done by non-professionals or people just starting out in the movie business. I guess everyone has to start someplace but to give this movie a good rating wouldn't be fair for future viewers and the people who were part of the movie who need to know the issues with it so they can hopefully improve in their future film endeavors. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie paints an accurate picture of what the Human Trafficking world is all about, it catches your attention right from the beginning and reaches climatic heights where you will be on the edge of your seat!!! A must see movie do not miss The Runners!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
