If you think of the brutality currently being inflicted upon people whose country is being invaded, this film is not so far-fetched as some believe. Whether or not the plot and its outcome are realistic, there is satisfaction to be taken in seeing cruelty confronted by the brutalized. Remember, this is not journalism or documentary. It's art, created to move people.

Gritty representation of a forgotten conflict. Proves that real life and what we do to one another as humans can be the best inspiration for horror and suspense. Wish it was more widely available to go back and watch again because I'm basing this review mostly off memory of that first visceral reaction I had.

Whether you loved it or hate it, you have to give it credit because it draws light to a real problem, that of human trafficking which happens every day around the world and can be just as bad as this movie.
