Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times "The Serengeti Rules" celebrates not only the diversity and beauty of the natural world but also recognizes the transformative power of curiosity and knowledge. May 16, 2019 Full Review Teo Bugbee New York Times The great accomplishment of "The Serengeti Rules" is that it directs the viewer to see beauty in the way an ecologist might. May 9, 2019 Full Review John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Being more conventional than it thinks doesn't keep the often beautifully shot doc from showing how what we were taught in high school might be faulty, and pointing toward ways of fixing seemingly permanent scenes of destruction. May 8, 2019 Full Review Ron Wilkinson It's Just Movies Too fuzzy for too much of the time, this film's high points are still worth the watching. Rated: 5/10 Nov 11, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Not only is the film thorough and engaging, it explains what's happening in such a way that viewers will be able to identify examples of similar events in their own local environments. Rated: 4.5/5 Nov 7, 2019 Full Review Wade Major FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) What an amazing documentary this is -- really extraordinary. Sep 30, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member ‪The Serengeti Rules is well shot and has great intentions. It’s certainly more educational than entertaining, though, and takes time to settle into the story. Still, the admirable message of preserving our natural world is worthwhile.‬ Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/28/19 Full Review Audience Member Will forever change the way you think about global and regional eco-systems. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review l g Excellent Doc. Well done. Saw it at a non-profit that I am a paid member of. One of the benefits is a lower ticket price. It would cost $2.50+ more to purchase through Fandango, so I'll have to remain "unverified". :( Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
