Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine I don't happen to enjoy Mario Lanza's brand of hammy, self-infatuated vocalism, and his acting is much worse than his singing. Jan 29, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Pleasant Mario Lanza musical (his penultimate) features lovely cinematography in which Lanza (looking a bit peaked) sings many songs, including "Arrivederci Roma." Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Mario's second to last film finds him in looking rough around the edges but sounding glorious. Trite story line is supplemented by breathtaking views of Rome.
