Justin Chang Variety There's precious little charm or magic in this English-dubbed, German-produced fairy-tale mash-up. Jul 31, 2015 Full Review Charles Solomon Los Angeles Times Elements from "Snow White," "Sleeping Beauty," "Tangled," "Frozen," "Happy Feet" and "Shrek" have been ineptly stitched together into a leaden film that children will enjoy about as much as lumps in their oatmeal. Jul 30, 2015 Full Review Sherilyn Connelly Village Voice The Seventh Dwarf's female characters are deplorably retrograde on both the script and design levels; they have little to do except be rescued, and Snow White is a vain, buxom sexpot whom the dwarfs leer at. Jul 28, 2015 Full Review Luis Fernando Galván En Filme This mashup of references is unoriginal. Victor O I saw this title in actress Peyton List's filmography, and I wondered if this was worth a look. In the fairytale land of Fantabularasa, Princess Rose has been protected fiercely by her father the king after having been cursed by the prophecy of an evil witch. She claims Rose will fall into a deep sleep after pricking her finger on a thorn before her 18th birthday, with the only thing to undo the curse is a kiss from a true love. So on the day Rose turns eighteen, it becomes a fabulous party dedicated to outsmarting the evil witch, unfortunately, the antics of Bubo of the Seven Dwarves inadvertently cause the prophecy to occur with Jack, Rose's true love captured. But hope is not lost as the Dwarves with assistance go on an adventure to save all of Fantabularasa from the evil witch. This was a nice movie but as it turns out not wholly original. It is the second sequel of a popular German animated franchise similar to Shrek in that they combine several stories of the Grimm Brothers' fairytales into a sanitized children's adventure film with American actors voicing the characters for the US release. With splendid performances as well as cute, albeit silly storytelling. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Spikecat It's funny for children, but a bit too stupid for adults. Still good (kinda). Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 28 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/23 Full Review sarah w It is fun, Just like the 1937 Classic, Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, and this one has pretty animation. and Princess Rose is adorable in this forgotten 2015 movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Literally the best movie I have ever seen. I was sold about 5 minutes in the movie when a emo dwarf dodges a cake matrix style. And near the middle of the film, a dragon pulls out a noose and trys to hang himself because the little dwarf laughed at his tap dancing, I am not kidding. Not to mention this movie has the hottest sound tracks I have ever heard. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review carlo c Agradable adaptación/fusión de varias historias historias de hadas, con el toque de un encantador enanito que quiere mostrar el significadi de amistad. Está bien para verla con los pequeños. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
