Jeff M American filmmakers will freely depict scenes of torture, decapitation, and mass shooting, but for the most part, they are afraid to tackle the issue of sex in any kind of serious nature. If this were made in the United States, odds are it would have been an off-the-wall comedy or a porno. Part of why I'm often drawn to foreign film is the willingness to seriously confront issues that are uncomfortable or considered salacious by American standards. At its core, this is a simple, affecting tale of non-traditional relationships that would cause the Bible Belt to have a coronary. But we come to care about these three characters, flawed as they may be, and their decisions and actions are based on feelings beyond just lust and passion. The nudity and sex here are minimal; instead, the film concentrates on the difficulties and challenges that happen outside of the bedroom. All three lead performances are first-rate with totally believable chemistry together. I am so appreciative of movies like this that delve into material like this with dramatic authenticity. I will remember these three characters for a long time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie proved that you can love multiple person and be happy at the same time, Why limit to ordinary relationship Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Some fine acting (especially from Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey in most of the parts) and an original story told affectionally and without romantize the complications and faults of a three-way relationship turns this picture in a watchable and rewarding experience, although some screenplay choices doesn't always match with the character developpment proposed, and some tropes coming from rom-com seems out of place sometimes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Is it a great movie? nah. But it's fckg hot watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member wonderfull, i love it ... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member There are moments in this movie that I absolutely hated!!!!! And I wanted to strangle this movie (and the main female character) so often. But this movie just gave me so much that I wanted from a queer movie. It just made me so happy. And ughhh, hopeful. This also felt so very much like a European film. I can't imagine an American director making this movie the same way.. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
