Synopsis
Based on a tale by German writer Bertolt Brecht, this French drama follows the exploits of Madame Bertini (Sylvie), an elderly widow who has led a mundane domestic existence. Determined to make up for lost time, she decides to cut loose, exploring all the elements of modern life that she has missed out on. Though her family is shocked by her sudden vitality and recklessly carefree attitude, she is too busy enjoying herself to be bothered with their concerns.
