Christie Cronan Common Sense Media Expect your heartstrings to be pulled by this feel-good golf drama. Rated: 3/5 Sep 5, 2025 Full Review Derek Chen Spectrum Culture Golf fans, rejoice? The Short Game isn’t for lovers of the sport; on that front, viewers will likely find themselves disappointed, unless they derive significant pleasure from ridiculing poor form. Sep 4, 2025 Full Review Al Alexander Movies Thru the Spectrum Nothing about it connects in a meaningful way, despite what should be an affecting tale of a high school golfer being cheered on to glory by his autistic brother. Rated: D Aug 28, 2025 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies It's cheesy and hokey and manipulative in its melodramatic beats. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 28, 2025 Full Review Michael Clark Epoch Times What’s better are the filmmakers not making a big deal or going into minute detail into Ethan’s special condition (autism). It is for this reason alone that the movie will carry great appeal to the many families with special needs children. Mr. Hollywood Standard sports movie. But the formula works even though this film has a certain cheese factor. Decent but predictable Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/03/25 Full Review Robert C This is a great film and story. The acting and production is well done. A mix of emotions with a feel good story. A good for families with middle school and up. Highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/03/25 Full Review Mich13 Entertaining. Good movie . More like a hallmark movie . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review Booth good whole heartsome movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review valerie gotta be honest didn't like anything about it other then the actor who played Jeremy he's a cutie but also came across as being a nice guy I went in thinking it was about a kid golfer but instead it was about cough parents with 2 sons one being autistic that felt it wasn't there responsibility to be the parent the burden was put on Jeremy who was trying to obtain a golf scholarship to college Jeremy had zero support from anyone if he acted human and was upset about having to always have I think his brother was named Eric forgot as his responsibility everyone turned on him oh how awful you are which was really ticking me off oh and Dad was Mr oh so stern "christian" with the praying Bible verses the usual schtick so called Christian movie but only caring about his wife oh her let's see she had to go to work cause ya know of bills so she can't be a parent and mom too I mean cmon teenage Jeremy had to always have his autistic brother as his responsibility I won't give away the end it's the only part I liked Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/01/25 Full Review Rae C Hokey but such a feel good movie.
