The cult plot in The Silence is as poorly handled as nearly every other part of the film. With the exception of a great cast, headed by Kiernan Shipka, Stanley Tucci, and Miranda Otto, the film lacks any cohesion and feels almost unwatchable.

It's basically the "Quite Place" wannabe. Same concept, you can't speak and make any noise. It wasn't bad, it was okay. Ending was weird, I was expecting some bigger "solution" let's say, but we got what we got. Not revisiting for sure. It's impossible not to compare with "A Quite Place" and it was a lot better then this movie. U can give it a shot but only you are in desperate need of a new movie that you haven't seen.

i wouldn't say it was great it didn't have that good of a plot i would say the cultist really had no effect on the movie i think they were there for extra run time over all it was decent but they could do better the acting was good also
