David Parkinson Radio Times The exploration of Majors's emotions is sophisticatedly handled by director Richard Irving, making this a cut above the usual pilot. Rated: 3/5 May 8, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

SICKS6SIX S This was one of the worst TV series to be made IMO. During the 1970s American flooded TV networks with series like this. A couple of Stars and a silly script with lots of crash bangs and wollops. Lee majors and his counter part were what this show was about. Their faces on the screen. Lee had the worst denim jacket known to man. Worth watching one episode just to see it Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/21/24 Full Review Tibor F Boring... First half of the film could have been filmed in 5 minutes. I did not continue watching. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Jeff M I'm not sure what led me to watch this movie. I suppose I was feeling a bit nostalgic when it came up on my menu, and I had also mentioned it in a recent post. Well, nostaglia I suppose this is proof that nostalgia is better left in the past. I honestly don't know the history of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN. I don't know if this was made as a stand alone movie and was popular enough to warrant a series or if this was made with the impending series already planned. In any event, it's not very good. Majors is a total snooze, so much so that I almost regret playing with the Steve Austin action figure as a youngster. The cast is basically made up of character actors you'd find on any given episode of BARNABY JONES. But I must make special mention of the incredibly lifeless Barbara Anderson as Nurse Manners - she has one expression throughout and by the end she has nailed it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you have fond memories of the series. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Audience Member Lee Majors' Steve Austin was a real life modern day super-hero. A believable Superman. Kenneth Johnson has two great '70's series: The Six Million Dollar Man is the first. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Painfully slow and overloaded on information, but a necessary watch, and a great lead in to a decent show.
