David Jenkins Little White Lies Deeper than it first appears. And even playing a dullard, Darroussin dazzles. Rated: 3/5 Sep 13, 2012 Full Review Phelim O'Neill Guardian It's made with a sure and steady hand that never takes shortcuts with its important message. Rated: 4/5 Sep 13, 2012 Full Review Marc Lee Daily Telegraph (UK) Robert Gudiguian's affecting blend of social grit and domestic tenderness steers clear of sentimentality - just. Rated: 4/5 Sep 13, 2012 Full Review Hannah Brown Jerusalem Post While the central conflict that the film attempts to explore may not be that compelling, it's still an engaging film and works as a slice-of-life drama. Mar 22, 2016 Full Review Graham Young Birmingham Post Unusual, compelling and inspirational enough to moisten your eyes. Audience Member Très bon film touchant et d'une profondeur qui fait réfléchir, je vous le conseil Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A Marseilles worker and union official is laid off along with 9 comrades and has his leaving money stolen in a brutal burglasry. A touching examination of the death of solidarity among working people, which offers a satisfying but hardly encouraging ending in which the saintly become even more self-sacrificing, and the embittered young are hardly saved from their empty, selfish world view. Mike Leigh could learn a thing or two from this film, which manages to create a view of gritty reality without the need to dehumanise the characters into unsympathetic cutouts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A didactic film which is ridiculously incredible. It's more a fantasy film than drama. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Las nieves del Kilimanjaro [2011] Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review antti p A heart warming movie about social conflicts and how nothing is all black and white in life. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
