Luis M. D This is really a good movie. Its tone is dark, suspenseful, with elements of both a neo-noir thriller and a touching, thought-provoking melodrama. The whodunnit mystery is doubtlessly well constructed. Not everything is perfect though. The central premise–that RNA technology could be used to transfer the soul and past experiences from one person to another–doesn't seem plausible at all. Nonetheless, one may still praise the brilliant performances, effective narrative and the magnificent sci-fi cinematography. The ending is certainly intriguing and open to interpretation. Watching this Taiwanese movie is definitely a rewarding experience. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/24 Full Review Glenn S Great movie. Very thought provoking. A little faggy at the end but I guess it was in the story. Amazing work. Makes the shit produced by holewood look and smell like the garbage it is, Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review Mohamad T The event in this movie makes you so interested to see what is next. the director his role in an impressive way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly good and very interesting. Bending everything that you might think the movie is all about. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member The film is almost a gem since the original plot and modified script are so rich; casting is in place, and the cast's performance draws the spectator into the story. Scene design, art, photography, editing, and original sound all deserve Golden Horse nominations since they provide complete immersion. Although the transition from fantasy to science fiction is a little stiff, the overall fault is not obscured, and the surprise is felt. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent poignant such a great movie. Deeply touching and a good mystery. Genre is partially science fiction as it takes place in the future. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
