victor o I saw this listed in my recommendations list by a streaming site because I like AnnaSophia Robb so I decided to check it out. Not what I was expecting but not exactly disappointed. September 2001. Omar, a young Muslim boy raised in New York has worked phenomenally at school and has a free ride to go to a good school in California. He is set and ready to go on a plane ride with Montine, an older stewardess set out to watch him, only no sooner have they left are they forced to land. The events of September 11th have occurred grounding flights and leading Omar and Montine stuck as they attempt to deal with the aftermath of the attacks and how to move forward. With Omar, it's the possibility that his father is dead and this school is now the only thing left for him. Montine is a personal matter that hits hard on a day like this as the two move on with an interesting conclusion. I wanted to see AnnaSophia Robb, and I did but her role was a small supporting role, not as big as the two leads played by Melissa Leo and Anthony Keyvan. Still, it was a decent drama with a wonderful message. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't find it amazing. It's ok. I like other films that deal with 9/11 better. Meh. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful movie of the travel across the country with a stranger category -- definitely worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice movie. Very touching... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Very gripping performances from the cast. Not a film though i would watch again, from its particular historical focus Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A but slow and predictable Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
