To me, the movie showed the pain caused by the false promise of gay conversion therapy. The young man in the sessions had problems, but this so-called therapy made his life worse. If you google search "Ex-Gay' Christopher Doyle admits trying to molest children in his Mother's daycare" you get a surprising account of the man's life from his own writings. The movie should be shown in churches and schools just on its own merits, though.
