      christopher c. m For some reason they changed the name from Super Friends to the word salad The Super Powers Team. I think they wanted to use "Justice League of America". Even had some animation using that name but DC for some reason wouldn't allow them to use the name. Probably a money issue. That DC wanted more money than Hanna-Barbara could afford. But going back to Super Friends would work better. The Super Powers Team is so generic. Being 1985 the show is still really, REALLY dumbed down which I'm sure didn't help with the dumb new name. Which is a shame. They had real villains from the comics like Lex Luthor, Darkseid, Joker and the Scarecrow. As well as Adam West as the voice of Batman.
