Denis D Just when we thought Nicklaus Cage was on a winning streak, he attachs himself to this dead in the water (pardon the pun) extremely slow burn agonising movie that's just painful to watch with Nicklaus Cage delivering a full on Razzie worthy performance relentlessly snarling throughout (ironically the completely unknown supporting & extras cast deliver amazing full on method performances especially the bully boy surfers). The premise of the movie with Nicklaus Cages character having a melt down going through a rough patch to say the least with everything going disasterly wrong for him along the lines of Michael Douglas in Falling Down is good but without any substance other than Nicklaus Cage hanging around the parking area of a beach spread over 1hr40min runtime had me craving a fastforward switch throughout. If like me you were excited to see Nicklaus Cage back on track again, this dead in water movie plus his Razzie worthy performance is a major mishap, don't waste price of cinema ticket for this.
