Jarrod E This movie sucks it's not even realistic Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review spud d It sucked so bad I couldn't finish watching it between the fake firearm shooting the bad acting although it had a good cast it just sucked can you give it less than half a star Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Patrick S Poorly written and staged action scenes sink this mediocre post-apocalyptic movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/23 Full Review Martin B If you've been too happy lately and need a downer to balance you out then definitely consider watching this movie. If you know the John Malkovich's stereotypical roll as a wierdo, sadistic bad guy then you essentially know what this movie is about. Just rolling depression with no redeeming factors. In the end the good guys kill all the bad guys. The in their infinite wisdom decide to leave the bucolic place they defended where they can hunt for food an grow crops to survive and head out on the road searching for who knows what in the pandemic racked, distopian world that now exists. It's too late for me but save yourselves. Don't watch this move. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Ben M Agonisingly dull, filled with pointless exposition from excellent actors acting badly and not so great actors apparently wandering in and out of shot trying not to look too bored. Awful script, an embarrassing potboiler for Jon Malkovitch. Unbelievable set-pieces and the feeling that everything was being made up on the spur of the moment by the whole cast at once with no aim but breaking for coffee soon enough to avoid falling asleep from boredom. And boredom. Did I mention boredom? 22 minutes in and I've stopped twice already just to check out a couple of vans on autotrader. Boring. Bored, bored, boring bored. Turning it off now before it goes further downhill. Sh^te. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Jeff S With a very thin plot line and a script that doesn't help much, this movie never really gets off the ground. I usually like Malkovich, but even he couldn't help this one. It was really difficult to make it to the end. The writers obviously had not done much research on the Delta variant, which, although it can be lethal, does not leave people dropping dead in the streets, or wipe out an entire nation. It might have helped a little if they had just invented a virus. I suppose there was some point in making this movie, but I couldn't see it, and from what I have found this was reflected in the dismal box office results. Leslie Felperin Guardian The palette of sludge and gravel doesn't help and the performances represent no one's best here, although it's nice to see Rhys Meyers back in action after some decidedly low-profile movie roles. Rated: 2/5 Oct 5, 2021 Full Review Alistair Lawrence Common Sense Media Rhys Meyers does his best to make Ben a relatable hero. But the storylines showing us his past and present never mesh in a way that tells anything interesting or unique about him. Rated: 2/5 Oct 14, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
