Supernatural terror and spine-tingling suspense highlight this gripping journey into fear. Even at a sparse 80 minutes, the build of the tension and set-up of Cami and Spencer's mistrusting relationship is too extended. If the film is asking asking you to pay it in time, the return on investment may seem a little low.

The Toll feels like it wants to make a point about women surviving in a world that’s designed to hurt them, but ultimately it just asks them to keep accepting the hurt in the name of entertainment.

A premissa de um motorista de aplicativo ser um bandido em plena madrugada é bem atual e interessante. Se o roteiro tivesse abordado isso de forma mais firme e menos fantasiosa certamente teríamos outro tipo de filme e sua qualidade provavelmente seria melhorada. Uma pena.

Jordan Hayes and Max Topplin are okay in this passable horror flick. It’s not particularly scary, but it does have an interesting premise. Thankfully, at a touch over 80 minutes, you won’t have wasted much time on this once you get to the end and discover you really wish you could have that time back again.
