In The Tomorrow War, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. This is a Big Mac-movie experience. You know what you get beforehand. The plot is at best cringy and the actions taken to avoid the threat are less believable than the aliens and the time travel. I'm not kidding. In all fairness, it's got some nice family interaction that I think most adults can relate to. The script, the script , the script. It amazes me that professionals in the extremely competitive movie industry are willing to spend their days executing something like this. Why not make the characters and the plot somewhat believable? Why not give it some life? Does it have to taste like Big Mac to get green lit?

Great movie that has you caring about the main characters early on. Doesn’t take long to jump into the action, and the alien invaders are just as badass/scary as you might think from watching the trailer (if not more so). I haven’t gotten to the end, so this might be a little premature, but I love it so far halfway through.
