Amateurish on many levels and at some point seeming to have been made up on the spot (which would be quite a feat for animation) ... a strong contender for the year's worst film, and not in a fun way.

Like South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut by way of Copenhagen, or old school Looney Tunes after doing one too many bong hits, Terkel in Trouble is terrific.

If you are not danish you wont understand the dark humor and the actual deep meaning in the movie. Anders Matthesen uses sarcasm and irony to explain how some children are living. simply a masterpiece and a danish classic.

To be honest this is a bad movie. But i think that alot of americans miss the point. It is supposed to be a random and fun movie with stupid charecters that pokes fun at the children movies that was being made in Denmark at that time. I also think that this film came out at the wrong time in the US and other countries and not in 2004 like in Denmark where it has a vult status.
