Audience Member Still loving this, though I don't know why, and I don't pretend to know what's going on most of the time. The acting is better (or at least not as distractingly bad), and the music is also improving as it goes along (though there's still too much oboe, which always makes me think "bad TV-movie"), but those two things don't affect the majesty of the production and the mythology, which I'm finally seeing as something you could really get swallowed up in. On a minor note, I love the way the main Tulse expert has slowly made his way from trapped in a black box to roaming the grounds, observing and acting as audience surrogate. Nice little touch. Onward! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Roughly "watchable". Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Still not great! But the images are fabulous! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member ahhh, crazy greenaway does his thang, and it's beautiful, difficult, hilarious, frustrating...a bit like Ulysses on screen Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I really can't remember specifics on each individual film but all three movies are an incredibly successful experiment on how much use one can get out of a movie screen and just how far you can push the illusion of movies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The best of all the Tulse Luper films. Admittedly that's not saying very much, as this is still a deeply flawed piece of filmmaking, but it's something. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
