Liam Lacey Globe and Mail There's simply not enough time given to any meaningful exchange of ideas. Rated: 1/4 Feb 7, 2014 Full Review Ariel Teplitsky Toronto Star Director Gus Holwerda does his best to add tension to the mostly tame travelogue. But damned if The Unbelievers doesn't find a few new converts. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 6, 2014 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Plays like a publicity stunt for its secular stars. Dec 12, 2013 Full Review Jules Brenner Cinema Signals There's so much of airports, taxis and trains that I was left with the thought that a message about the shortcomings of deities and church-going isn't best conveyed in conveyances. Rated: 2.6/5 Mar 30, 2014 Full Review Ethan Alter Film Journal International In its reliance on sloganeering in place of substantive debate, The Unbelievers winds up being almost as insular as any dogmatic religious group. Instead of opening viewers' minds, it's just preaching to the choir. Dec 11, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member For such a heady topic, it’s frustratingly shallow. It plays like an extended trailer. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/16/18 Full Review Audience Member This is an angsty physics lecture disguised as a subversive documentary. For a film covering such curious individuals as Dawkins and Krauss, it doesn't actually seem that curious about anything other than its very myopic perspective: that science cancels out religion. Irritated and irritating. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The amount of sheer ignorance and foolishness to come out of both Dawkins and Krauss's mouth, is both seamless and mind blowing. For the film itself, it's heavy handed, hand fisted and downright boring. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Too much repetition of content no real depth. Very underwhelming, could have been so much better. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Very interesting film by two titans in the scientific community. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/18 Full Review Chris%20 P Interesting concept but could have done with more depth. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/23/17 Full Review Read all reviews
