After resigning to a job he hates, at the last minute of the last office day, Jose María gets THE DATE. The preparations for such a desired moment are interrupted by the arrival of characters who come to his apartment uninvited. Three friends who want to celebrate. A brother who wants to make him an accomplice in a scam. A sister who's having an affair with one of his friends. An ex-girlfriend who moves to the same building. A demanding mother who returns from a trip. And a father who comes from the dead. José María feels he's on a treadmill: running after everybody, but not moving towards where he wants to go.
