Joseph Robinson Fish Jelly Films (YouTube) It is bad on a level that is unbelievable. The dialogue is atrocious. The story is ridiculous. It's super ambiguous in ways that are not interesting...I don't think any lawyers were consulted in the making of this film. Rated: 0.5/5 Jul 30, 2023 Full Review Josh Goller Spectrum Culture Insists on telling and not showing, belaboring the specifics of what causes these supernatural disturbances when it should’ve left much more unsaid. Ben D With only two critic reviews on RT and less than 50 for the audience, The Unseen has largely gone unseen, which is probably best for everyone. I’ll try pretty much anything that concerns a law student, but man, this movie seemed to not even understand what a lawyer actually does. Tommy’s (RJ Mitte) boss, Kristen (Candice Ross), has him searching through “cold cases” during his first day on the job at a Chicago law firm. Tommy is an associate who hasn’t even passed the bar yet and also is not a detective. This doesn’t even make sense at the most foundational level. This isn’t how law firms even work! I emptied my brain capacity of this movie the moment I stopped watching it, but there’s haunting and a faceless killer and it’s all kind of predictable except for the end, which has a Gatsbyish twist that isn’t merited whatsoever. Tommy’s father (William Mark McCullough) is cartoonishly evil and the dialogue is crap. This is a bad movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review Amanda G Jennifer A Goodman is wayyy too old to be playing the daughter. I thought she was the mom or an aunt at first. She looks at least 45. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Courtney K it looked like it had promise, but it just did not deliver. it wasn't bad, per say, but it was not very good. i think you can skip this one. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Trevor B The Unseen was amazing, but dragged out!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Ricardo d Talvez o que temos de melhor seja a inclusão de um ator com deficiência, como principal, e alguns momentos dramáticos do climax, mas de resto, é muito ruim. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/24 Full Review Larry J The Unseen is not a bad movie, but it is not great either. RJ Mitte (Breaking Bad) does his usual good job as the lead. It was creepy and suspenseful, with enough originality to keep me interested. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
