Its runtime passes painlessly enough, but The Vault's slickly engineered thrills are dulled by familiarity.

The scene, the setting and the characters are all familiar, but "The Vault" moves nimbly and efficiently through the motions. Consider this bank job a score. Go to Full Review

Liam Cunningham and Freddie Highmore lead the sparkling cast of thieves just crazy enough to try to claim treasure buried deep under the Bank of Spain. Go to Full Review

Igor S Sep 12 It's one of those movies that is very formulaic and has a ton of plot holes, but is decent enough to pass the time, if you're looking for a dumb/don't think about it movie. See more Jack A Aug 23 Yawn. Best part is Freddie Highmore's attempts to act. He has a massive repetoir of one facial expression throughout ( he might have also frowned once). He looks like a stunned mullet at all times, thank God there were no sex scenes he was in ( or did I fall asleep?), I just can't imagine how ( un) realistic those would be with him staring straight ahead, blinkless, at all times. My goldfish would have been more entertaining. See more Yossi W Apr 18 I thought the movie was brilliant, however I retract my starts and give it a minus five starts if no sequel is made, I can't stand when filmmakers leave a story without an ending to leave room for a sequel but won't release one. I appreciate that for many of you it was nothing new, but for me it was the first heist movie I have watched in years so it was brilliant. Reviews should never come from a perspective of binge watchers as they will always say nothing I haven't seen yet. See more Aidan C 09/07/2024 Formula script for history. See more Paul P 04/29/2024 Pretty boring, follows the heist formula without ever raising the stakes to a point where I cared what happened to anyone. The "twist" was pretty obvious from early on.
