12/16/2013 Passable slab of the sometimes underrated Italian crime genre has rogue policeman infiltrating a crime organization by rather unorthodox measures. The opening has a security guard lamenting transportation of dangerous criminals to feed the kids at home--a sure giveaway of bad things about to happen. Plenty of action and violence to make this venture worth a look. See more 04/01/2013 Dubbed Italian film with some fine car chases. A Milan police lieutenant goes undercover to bring down the crime organization responsible for his superior's murder. This one gives us some good lines too such as "I'll cut you up so bad, you'll wish they never invented mirrors". Worth a look. See more 06/10/2010 Violent Professionals starts like gang buster with two cons breaking free of an armored train they are being transported in. After shooting a father and his young daughter the men are surrounded by the police were they surrender only to be shot by a 'fuck the books' cop. With an opening like this i had high hopes for this film. I mean ten minutes in and the sleaze is already being pour on thick. But unfortunatly the complicated script meanders too much in half baked ideas that never do come to light. Thats not to say this is a bad film. Its full of tight car chases, shoot'em up bank robberies and finely filmed fight sequences from director Sergio Martino. Martino has always been reliable with Giallos and my first exerience here with his Poliziotteschi isnt that much of a disappointment. But like i said the screenplay for this could of been alot tighter. See more 02/24/2010 Great soundtrack wish they would release it with a better transfer.
