An action film in the purest sense of the word. There are some quality action sequences. Unfortunately, interspersed are family and emotional sequences which clearly neither the actors not the production staff were equipped to handle appropriately. The plot becomes an anchor on the movie, as it forced the moviemakers to include dialogue and facial expressions that became comical in their inappropriateness and amateurish delivery. No matter what language was spoken, and it is interchanged at the oddest moments, the dialogue seemed like it was written for a high school film project.

One long, interminable chase scene. Through the streets, in helicopters, in warehouses, on the high seas...like a bad video game with the worst sound track imaginable. Asian action at a very low point, indeed.
