Audience Member ok movie but it could have been better, it was ok but I don't want it on DVD, it starred Debbon Ayer, ght Ewell, Will Arnett and Terumi Matthews, it was an ok movie but I feel it could have been better Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member The Waiting Game is a film that lacks laughter, and over all quality. The film has a nice premier but falls flat. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Even Will Arnett fans will find this tedious. The novelty of seeing him as a semi-serious leading man wears off in the first 20 minutes. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member NY Times got this one right, ordinary actors make for an ordinary film. There is nothing surprising at all here, with a cliched cast of aspiring actors, all of whom have cliched problems. It feels like an 77 minute episode of Friends. The editing is very poor, as are the transitions throughout. The camera work is also fuzzy at times to a distracting degree. The use of inner dialogue sporadically throughout doesn't work especially well. The length of the film however allows it to remain light enough to view. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie!! I don't care for most romantic comedies, but I thought this was an original one. It wasn't saccharine or sappy and the premise was a bit like 'Friends' but I liked this better than 'Friends.' Will Arnett is wonderful. It was interesting to see him in something pre-Arrested Development that he actually played a major role in and also it was interesting to see him play somewhat a romantic lead/ "good" guy. Anyone who is a fan of Will Arnett, I would highly reccomend "The Waiting Game." Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Ordinary lives have become a laboriously ordinary film.
