U.S. soldiers Allan "Ize" Isaac and Shane Matthews answer a distress call in the desert of postwar Iraq. Suddenly, gunshots erupt, leaving Shane badly injured and Allan with a bullet in his leg. Not your typical "American hero soldiers who never do anything bad or make a mistake" military movie. Offers a subtle and realistic take on military occupation. Pacing was a little slow but Aaron-Taylor Johnson is great and was able to build enough tension to make it entertaining. The end makes it all worth it.

I really really enjoyed this movie. Even though it is not action packed and chaotic it really shows the intensity of some situations and the patience needed. I was hooked the whole movie and the ending is completely unexpected. Fabulous film
