Alain E @AlainE 2d A movie too symbolic for its own good. A text in the preamble indicates that the story has something to do with post communist situation in Poland, but the movie fails to make anything clear. An affluent couple traveling rural Poland in a convertible Porsche 911 ask directions to a church from a local girl and in exchange promise to drive her to Warsaw. This is the last coherent part of the plot. They never reach the capital. They visit different ruins and they suffer a 33% fatality rate. In the process we learn that far from being unrelated all three have a connection to obscure poems. Their author was imprisoned by the communists in one of the now ruined churches. The meaning of all this? On Tubi. It is well shot and that’s why I watched the whole thing hoping for an enlightenment that never arrived. See more Read all reviews
