Audience Member The title says it all.A wannabe mob movie Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film that is based on a true story. The cast is perfect. Christopher and Artie from The Sopranos both make great appearances. The relationship between Arquette and Piazza feels very real and can bring up emotions in the viewer because of it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible! I couldn't wait for them both to get whacked! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review farah r A bloody waste of good actors. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Good acting delivered by the two leads: Vincent Piazza & Patricia Arquette. But kinda boring, formulaic story on the other hand. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Reasonably good film but I didn't really understand what it was all about due to the accident stuff going round and round in my head making it difficult for me to follow and process what was going on. Maybe I should watch again at some point in the future. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andy Webster New York Times Mr. Piazza offers a persuasive portrait of decline, but it is the crumbling beauty and flailing hopes of Rose that resonate. Ms. Arquette comprehends the character inside and out, and her aim is true. Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times The mix of callous humor and romantic doom doesn't always hold up, but in its best moments, "The Wannabe" finds real spikiness in the pitfalls of anti-hero worship. Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Clayton Dillard Slant Magazine The film is less a revisionist take on the circumstances of John Gotti's 1992 indictment than a tedious love child of Bonnie and Clyde and Goodfellas. Rated: 1.5/4 Nov 30, 2015 Full Review Shawn Hazelett Under the Radar The Wannabe is too derivative for any insight, offering little more than tired tropes and bad accents. Rated: 3.5/10 Dec 9, 2015 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Its taste in antiheroes doesn't inspire fascination, just a desire to see a different movie. Rated: D Dec 5, 2015 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Arquette shines, but this unmade-man mob movie lacks the energy and brutally dark humor of "Rob the Mob," which was about exactly the same story,.
