Whoisfloridaboyz it was very good and relatable it was a great form of art all and all , i cried Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Sarah T Nice light rom com with visual appeal. I don't choose movies like this to think hard but the opposite - to unwind. I would have loved to see more of the photography and more vintage dresses. Some movies are just for taking a beak from the real world and this was that but could've gone a bit farther. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Kayla S It was a cute movie with a great soundtrack. Predictable, yes, but sometimes that's the most comforting part about rom-coms. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Kenneth P This movie is underrated, it shares the true experience of an organic biracial couple's relationship without losing touch of each others social groups. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Miriam L I read the critics reviews and thought they were a bit harsh. I enjoyed the movie. It was sweet. Yes it was a somewhat typical rom com but as a rom com lover, I really liked it. Loved the chemistry between the main characters. The wedding scenes were cringy and fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Britney S It was mid. Cast was good, acting not bad, chemistry there. Just a played out storyline. If you're able to turn off logical thought for the duration, it's almost enjoyable. Not the most painful thing I've experienced out of LA. Claudia Puig FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) A slight romantic comedy... It does feel like we've seen this before, but the [the stars] do have nice romantic chemistry. Oct 4, 2019 Full Review Joshua Brunsting The CriterionCast It's rare, in 2019, to have a genuinely good time at the movies and this, in all of its simplicity and cliche, is absolutely that. Oct 16, 2019 Full Review Jackie K. Cooper jackiekcooper.com Sarah Hyland gives it her all but this story of the marriage circuit never quite connects with its audience. Rated: 5/10 Sep 27, 2019 Full Review Alex Saveliev Film Threat Robert Luketic... churns out another generically-named, generic rom-com! Lo and behold, The Wedding Year may just be his most generic one yet! Rated: 5/10 Sep 23, 2019 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue We hardly need another romantic comedy about millennials indulging in wedding mayhem, and this breezy entry is too familiar and predictable to break the mold. Sep 20, 2019 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies The Wedding Year has a terrible, wholly unlikeable protagonist. Rated: 1/4 Sep 20, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
