Richard B It does a good job teaching people to be simple about listening to their feelings and expressing them authentically, but the political takeaways are too radical for me because they seem impractical and ironically too fear based about how the world is and how economics works. I would prefer some assessment and discernment about which programs work better in the world in dealing with homelessness. Using Vancouver and San Francisco, which have loads of criticism for ineffective programs, as examples of how to change the world is risible. I have been reading Gabor Mate and following his interviews for years. He's a gem. But furthermore, so are all the pioneers confronting trauma, addiction, and toxic culture in general. As a social worker and caregiver, this type of radical testimony is what I feel is most needed in the world. Spread the word, this film, this work, is precious. I'm doing the work in my own life.
