Although its final act succumbs to the usual cartoonish antics, The Wolverine is one superhero movie that manages to stay true to the comics while keeping casual viewers entertained.

An improvement from the first solo Wolverine movie, but still only serves as a throttled version of what is capable with the character. Go to Full Review

Jason H Nov 7 The first two-thirds tricked me into thinking this wasn't going to be a typical "comic book" movie. Alas. See more Brayden F. @BraydenFeinsten Oct 13 This is a good movie See more Ryland C Sep 8 I actually like the Japan setting. It works well for the fun action scenes and the new characters are pretty enjoyable. I do think the first movie was better though in terms of expanding the character of Wolverine. I really don’t think this movie added anything. Still though it’s fun See more Yewo Humphrey M Sep 5 The romance and setting felt like they were just cobbled together with Wolverine himself just for the sake of it, which I didn't like. And it didn't do enough to make me feel emotionally invested in those bonds See more Garrett B @garrettbowman Aug 21 Samurai movie. Unnecessary violence and too long. Too many undeveloped characters but its Japanese setting so unique/memorable. Despite that, could watch again probably. See more Zein U Aug 17 Absolutely fantastic movie! Would recommend everyone to watch this masterpiece of a movie! See more Read all reviews
