T T Loved this French movie. It was very entertaining from the beginning till the end. The acting was good and the storyline was decent. I laughed a few times, especially in the beginning. Overall, it's a fun and enjoyable movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Audience Member French Guy Ritchie style movie, once you get into it the movie is a fun watch although not as good as Guy Ritchie movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Gianmarco R Nice and quite funny movie about a very disorganized gang of drug dealers. It could have been a stupid comedy, but instead it's a good film to watch even if here and there it has some stupidity and plot hole Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/30/21 Full Review Audience Member pelicula entretenida y rara a la vez 6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Great fun in this French mishmash of Guy Ritchie/Quentin Tarantino meets present day France; Adjani is unmatched as the smarter than most self-interested mother Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the first movie review I am writing, so I hope to get it right. I have found this movie entertaining and absolutely loved Isabelle Adjani's performance; however, I felt uncomfortable with the roles of women in this story and this seems to be becoming a trend with recent French movies (or maybe I was just unlucky with my recent picks, I'll leave it to the consideration of other female viewers to either confirm or refute). This is the story of a conman who is constantly upstaged by his mother and after having her saving his neck in one last coup, decides to mercilessly abandon her to the police. He is also desperately in love with a cunning young woman, to whom he offers cash to have sex with (it could have been camels, but times have changed) and this is supposed to be the pillar of a solid relationship, as we are left to believe, by the end of the movie. Overall, I wasn't pleased with the take on women in this movie, whom the main character perceives and treats as something you can buy, use and dispose of and I wished for a better ending for a strong, funny character such as Danny. Phil Hoad Guardian A brash and jubilant Guy Ritchie-style crime caper. Rated: 4/5 Apr 25, 2019 Full Review David Jenkins Little White Lies A lot of good clean fun - but maybe not much more than that. Rated: 3/5 Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Elisabeth Vincentelli New York Times The young director Romain Gavras does not reinvent the comic caper in the French film "The World Is Yours," but he revitalizes that genre with pop verve, goofy humor and visual sophistication. Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation A “one last job/score” tale that takes its title from the DePalma/Pacino “Scarface” and its style from “Snatch” era Guy Ritchie. Yeah, it’s funny. And violent. And very French. Rated: 3/4 Jul 21, 2022 Full Review Taylor Baker Drink in the Movies A strong movie. Rated: 70/100 Sep 3, 2021 Full Review Emma Simmonds Radio Times It all adds up to a colourful, enjoyably chaotic story of a group of less-than-capable crooks.
