This lean, mean, R-rated action machine is better than you'd think since Momoa and Bautista take the time, between fights and jokes, to examine the bruised places in the hearts of these half brothers. You feel for them, and that makes all the difference.

I thought the relationship dynamic between the brothers Manoa and Barista was entertaining and relatable having grown up around brothers. Some of the action scenes had new stunts and humor that made them great to watch. Underneath it all was a nice message of family.

Less violence and more humor would have helped a lot. At times the violence felt relentless and never-ending. The main actors are very appealing and there is a lot of production value including a decent script, but we were disappointed.

Based in Hawaii, this violent action-packed movie is not for the squeamish due to the blood and guts. But the camera work, acting, script and storyline were all solid enough to recommend this movie.

Low budget vibes all over it. Fights look like they’re throwing punches in slow motion quicksand. Mad CGI for no reason and it still looks fake as hell. Zero realism. Plot full of holes. Acting feels like rehearsal day. Two hours of that? Nah. That’s not a movie, that’s a punishment.

Runtime is too long. The pacing is too slow (not much of a story in it). Action scenes quite entertaining. A typical streaming movie.

This movie is not really funny. The level of violence was not necessary. The level of violence was wayyyy to graphic. I thought I was going to watch an entertaining engaging movie but I got to watch emotionally immature people behave really badly.
