Brad Newsome Sydney Morning Herald There sure are a lot of humans hogging the screen... Still, it's nice to see the lull in Alaskan shipping traffic enabling humpback whale mothers to feed better, produce more milk and improve the odds of their calves surviving to maturity. May 5, 2021 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM From a cinematic perspective, its a once in a lifetime opportunity to see these centres of humanity ground to a halt, and is an eerie reminder of what weve all been through. Rated: 4/5 Mar 2, 2022 Full Review Cole Smithey ColeSmithey.com International treasure David Attenborough narrates this brief silver-lining look at examples of nature's resurgence while the world was locked down due to Covid-19. Rated: B+ Feb 5, 2022 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz With a lighter tone than we've come to expect from nature documentaries in recent times, Attenborough may just have delivered his most potent and powerful motivation for change message yet. All it took was a pandemic. Apr 26, 2021 Full Review Carla Renata The Curvy Film Critic This doc painfully puts into perspective how the earth has globally been taken advantage of and how the pandemic made us all pause and reflect. It's a powerful punch to the gut on a global level that sorely needs an environmental vaccine Apr 24, 2021 Full Review Gregory Wakeman The National (UAE) Awe-inspiring visuals of nature and wildlife, this time accompanied by drone shots of deserted city centres, are mixed with rousing music. The Year Earth Changed also benefits hugely from Sir David Attenborough's exquisite narration. Rated: 4/5 Apr 23, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Brad O In just 45 minutes, this inspiring documentary shows the ways in which people have affected animals and how the animals recovered in 2020 when human activity slowed. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/23/24 Full Review apryl w Such a beautiful story! Amazing how well nature does when we get out of her way! A must see that should be shown in every school! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Gina B Critical viewing. Everyone must see. Everyone STOP TRAVELING. Live where you are. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/09/23 Full Review Mouse of L Beautiful to watch, with stunning images and videos Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review ahmad m Dazzling and insightful. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Yet another beautiful nature focused documentary narrated by Sir David Attenborough. This documentary highlights our planets resiliency when humans were quarantined in their homes for most of 2020. It's interesting to know how wild life accommodates the human population during our every day normal lives. From tourism, to ocean commerce, to farming, it seems humans have failed to balance our lifestyle with nature, although according to this documentary, it might not be impossible to do so. Director Tom Beard and the team behind this documentary created an enlightening and beautiful film that will both dazzle and interest you. I would have preferred that Beard take a firm stance on how humanity can use this opportunity and information to change our lifestyle in benefit of the Earth and as such the documentary failed to capitalize on a very impactful message. I would have preferred that it be available to stream on multiple sites to get more eyes on it, but folks with AppleTVPlus should definitely take advantage of this gem on the platform. This is a must watch for fans of documentaries and those curious about the world we live in. - BiAP Del Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
