If you are a fan of Scandinavian cinematic quirkiness then you will find enough to keep you watching. But it ultimately fails to deliver a punchline about the human condition or see any real change in the main character that makes you think. It's like they wrote 2/3 of the movie and then forgot to finish it.

Half of a good film..... Swedish - Tick Got masturbating in the title - tick Not everybody is a gorgeous blonde - tick Nice shots of Stockholm - tick Too many aerial shots and feeling like a travelogue - Yes Half of a good script - yes Clichéd characters, character arc and resolution - Yes AND tick! Liberated attitudes towards sex as you'd expect from the progressive Swedes centering on women AND extolling the virtues of onanism...... you'll have to see the film to find out..... Owing much to the Scandi-dogma style, some good performances particularly the charming Katia Winter in the main role, it felt that unlike some of the sex toys featured the ideas ran out in the end. Still, it would make a good date movie.....

My girlfriend and I enjoyed this and we smiled , laughed out loud plenty 😀 Subtle messages are there on work / life balance , how men can just drift , get by in the work place whilst women somehow need to work harder and are judged differently . Apparently the secret for ladies is to be medicore as a male at work and as selfish in life .

Healthy sexual pleasure is certainly important. Instead of encouraging the thoughtlessness that can accompany the pursuit of random sexual pleasure for its own sake, perhaps a real friend could tell Hanna to imbue her life with more thought-full-ness.
