Audience Member (Int. Empty Theatre Lobby surrounded by upper balcony with frozen muses) Apasmara: (cries out to marble statues of muses) U-Ran-ia! (pauses/listens to echoes) U-Ran-ia! Urainia: (appears in janitor's uniform with mop from behind statue in upper balcony/calls down to lower level where Apasmara cries) Rain, not Ran, lover...Rain! (puts hand on statue of Thalia) Just look what these humans did to my poor sister! As if she wanted her comedy frozen like this (peers into marble face) Thalia, are you there, dear? Apasmara: All your sisters have been frozen. Urainia: (takes out duster to dust Erato statue's face) Erato would hate this outfit they have her frozen in for all eternity! Apasmara: Would you get down from the balcony of muses so we can get out of here? Urainia: Oh, does my little man not want a statue in his theatre now? (sarcastically) But the LEGACY of it all! (throws duster off balcony and it thuds on lobby floor with an echo). Apasmara: Get down here this instant! Urainia: (dances around statues) The architect of this theatre froze all the muses but me, why do you think that is? Apasmara: So you could clean it forever! Urainia: (pulls out vacuum) Then I shall (turns on vacuum) Clean? Apasmara: No! Urainia: (turns off vacuum) What? Apasmara: (angrily) I'm finding a way up! Urainia: There's a ramp for disabled access to your left. Apasmara: I know where the ramp is! (stomps up ramp to empty balcony) Urainia! Urainia: (calls from inside theatre doors) In here, Lover! Apasmara: (slowly opens theatre door) Urainia? Urainia: (on stage tap dancing) If Terpsichore could unfreeze and see me now!
