Myra S Wonderful love story Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/03/20 Full Review Mark C Very funny, great scenery, great acting, really great singing. Loved the ending too. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/02/20 Full Review Karen G Needed more work on storyline! And for KLG to be an outspoken christian the dialouge was pretty KRASS! Very dissapointed! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/02/20 Full Review Pjs S Really couldn't say anything positive. Not even "corny"is too nice. She made her own movie..good grief. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Lolly B Such a cute movie! I loved it! Kathylee was adorable in it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/24 Full Review Jeff M Although this is pretty atrocious, you gotta give Gifford credit for trying so hard. In addition to starring, she wrote the screenplay, co-produced and co-wrote all the songs. The fact that she is unsuccessful in each of these roles is painful because it's pretty obvious that she thinks she's making the next great rom-com. Her multiple mentions of Streisand in the film make it pretty clear who she's trying to emulate. Ultimately the movie is very cheap looking and is proof positive that Gifford doesn't have much if any thespian abilities. Her performance is largely uncomfortable and quite awkward to watch. And a Kathie Lee Gifford/Craig Ferguson coupling is not necessarily the pairing we've all been waiting for. Ferguson actually has a couple charming moments - I'd be anxious to see what he can do with worthwhile material. But it's all corny and cheesy - like Kathie Lee herself. This is 3AM Lifetime television material. Although I must say Kathie Lee using the f-word is the biggest cinematic shock since we found out that Darth Vader is Luke's father. Paul Byrnes Sydney Morning Herald The film has some charm, some good lines, and a certain crackle born of the oppositional way the two leads confront each other Rated: 3/5 Mar 10, 2021 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com
there’s nothing to cheer
a vanity project... Rated: 1/5 Nov 17, 2023 Full Review Patrick Scott FILMINK (Australia) ...a soppy melodrama... Rated: 5/20 Mar 25, 2021 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz Writer and producer Adriana Trigiana does her best to corral her leads, in order to keep the story flowing, however, in truth, Then Came You is at its best when she just leaves them to banter, berate and blather. Rated: 3/5 Mar 15, 2021 Full Review Sarah Ward Concrete Playground The fact that the reliably charming Ferguson fares best here, even with the grating material, hardly comes as a surprise. Mar 15, 2021 Full Review Simon Foster Screen-Space [Finds] just enough heart and honesty at key moments to keep Then Came You from being just a sweetly disposable confection.
