nick s Pamela Franklin was 14 when she made this movie, which is bonkers. Her acting is beyond what most seasoned actors could accomplish. The movie as a whole had a lethargic pace and not enough cerebral stimulation, but that was offset by impressive camerawork, directing and acting. Would definitely recommend. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Audience Member An intricate murder mystery based on psychiatry (and medically accurate), with the twist that the amateur detective must consider himself as a suspect. Listen carefully, and the culprit will reveal himself! A British gem with a stellar script and cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent underated psychological mystery Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Nice twist to reveal the killer. Could be a hit if remade today Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A solid little mystery with some creepy undertones and a few intense moments, especially the climax. Boyd is a bit stiff (except for one really hammy scene) but Pamela Franklin as the young girl is wonderful. The psychoanalytic elements are handled fairly well. It's not hard to see the ending a mile off, but it's still pretty gripping, and along the way are a couple of insightful observations about man's struggles with his psyche. Some pretty nice dramatic camerawork as well. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
