I recalled bits and pieces of the true story behind this film, and although I'm a few years late to see this movie, I must say, it is easily one of the best new films I've watched in the last decade. The accuracy and attention to detail from Ron Howard & the screenwriters was outstanding. This is an extremely stressful movie to watch, and it wouldn't have been effective any other way. The acting is great, the replication of the flooding and rescue events was believable and on-point. If you aren't inspired by this film or shed a tear when you watch all of the locals banding together and sacrificing for the good of these boys, then you aren't human. This is truly an inspiration film that tugs at your heart. Well done! 5 stars.

A powerful examination of true heroism. It's surprising how much Ron Howard underplays a lot of this (the movie is never overwrought and it earns the more emotional moments) and I hope he continues to make stuff like this.

Um filme belíssimo, claustrofóbico e emocionante, pareceu ser tão realista, sincero, nas dores, nas fraquezas humanas individuais e na coragem de fazer o impossível, correndo o risco de serem responsabilizados se tudo desse errado, como, por exemplo, o fato de sedarem os meninos, mas que por fim acabou salvando a todos, dois voluntários no resgate faleceram, dos 5 mil que auxiliaram, de 17 países diferentes...
