Jaynie B This Years Love Film Review Firstly, please watch, then a day or a few days later, please watch again as you will notice something else hilarious and touching too. Absolutely fabulous film Why this hasn't been shown on TV, Sky, Netflix, Amazon Complete waste of movie gold. This is a Must see hilarious film, happy film, touching film keyed with an beautiful soundtrack. Magic absolutel magic. From the very first scene you will be hooked, with the lives of The various Brilliant Cast and how their lives are intertwined Fabulous screen play, Fantastic Film, David Grays Music perfect. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 I'm not a reviewer, however this film has to be seen from seeing it in 1999 and even being gifted The Film This Years Love 10 years after. Fun, Love, Happy, Sad, Hilarious, Brilliant. This years love takes you on the rollercoaster of love and relationships but nothing like you imagined it would be. Please find and enjoy 🥰😍🥰😍🥰 N.B I'm just glad they haven't remade this film, as the casting is absolutely phenomenal. You will recognise quite a few who are now huge names in major films and television drama's. Sorry for waxing poetic, It just annoys me when brilliant films, never get shown, as there's a new generation that would "absolutely love this years love" ❤️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a very cleverly intertwined series of love stories that deals with the often odd ways we meet each other, love and break up. It's damned funny, yet tinged with the sadness, frustration & anger that sometimes goes with being in love. One of Dougray Scott's most underrated movies. Some great supporting performances by Kathy Burke, Sophie Okenedo and Douglas Henshaw. Outstanding soundtrack by David Gray (from the album White Ladder) who also makes a cameo is a pub singer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Very entertaining, though a bit unreal. Superb acting, lots of laughs. Catherine McCormack at her very best, also Jennifer Ehle, and Emily Woof shine. Very good writing and directing - ie, the escalator scene and later, Danny's speech at the supermarket. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I fell in love with this film when I watched it. The acting is amazing, as is the way all of the characters paths cross. Just awesome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Trainspotting meets four weddings, a timeless portrayal of love triangles situated in Camden. Each character remains there own throughout allowing you to enter their world. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing film. Unforgettable cast. What british movies should be all about. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
