Albert Williams Chicago Reader Araki has a talent for capturing the realness of a situation without falling quite into the cinema-verite trick bag... Rated: 2/4 May 10, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member "Boring" is not a word a like to use indiscriminately, but Jesus Christ is this film boring. Three insufferably self-absorbed characters blather on endlessly about how nothing matters until you become convinced they are right and long to destroy the film. I hate Gregg Araki. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Although the characters at the core of this film are narcissistic, self-important whiners, there is a lot of value in the movie itself. Araki crafts a story that, although overwrought and often strained, feels sincere and even tender at times. There are some really promising directorial decisions as well that anticipate the career of a very skilled, and equally uneven filmmaker. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
