06/27/2020 Decent enough watch, won't watch again, and can't recommend: honestly can't say your missing anything. Helen Sadler gives a surprisingly powerful performance to Kristen Johnson's wildly relaxed one, but they pretty much carry the movie. The dad, kids, and minions are all lackluster. And, for some reason, they decided to put an obtuse message about no judging books by their cover, and while refreshing it seemed to serve as a medium for a lame recurring joke. Additional the ending seems to be as it is because they wanted a happy ending written, and nothing else. And it honestly would have saved the movie for me if they had all be appreciate of the sacrifice instead.
