Shaun R Whilst I struggle to watch anything with Michael Jackson in it, this is fantastic. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review jonnati77 This is a rare PERFECT (short) MOVIE!!! There is nothing that can be improved on or changed. It is the quintessential HALLOWEEN Television Experience...year after year. It's TIMELESS!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/25/22 Full Review Audience Member Giving a music video its own Rotten Tomatoes page so that I can have more material to review? Rotten Tomatoes, why do you spoil me so? The music video of the iconic Michael Jackson song remains a groundbreaking entry in the realm of music videos with not just great direction, singing and choreography but also breathtaking production values of the "you had to have been there to truly admire it" kind that encouraged music videos to become mini-movies that tell their own story and be more sophisticated than what was around in the '70s...whilst also marking the beginning of MTV's golden age and immortalising Michael Jackson's legacy for good. Not to mention the breaking of racial barriers and the fact that, even if it didn't encourage music videos to be more cinematic, it's also a Halloween classic. Thriller is a music video worth watching at least once in your lifetime. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member the greatest of the all time, we still love u mj Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Two things I love in one! Michael Jackson and Vincent Price. Vincent Price is my favorite old Hollywood actor, he plays his roles very well. And Michael Jackson.. he's the king of pop! He brought the song to life with the music video and it's the most iconic Halloween song!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Video and making of for the music video that took the medium to a level not seen before (or possibly since). Contains a 'monster' budget and A-list talent in John Landis and Rick Baker. Video offers one piece of unintended irony when Jackson tells his girl that he's 'not like other guys'.
