Falsely accused of bank robbery, Jim Brandon (Bob Steele) is released from jail after his supposed criminal partner commits suicide. Back home, he finds that, aside from his stalwart friends, Betty Morgan (Ellen Hall) and Utah McGirk (Syd Saylor), most people in his small town still believe he's guilty.
