Diego Semerene Slant Magazine Tied to a Chair mostly suffers from a sense of confusion that never reads like bona fide experimentalism, just aimlessness. Rated: 1.5/4 Jun 3, 2011 Full Review V.A. Musetto New York Post I won't mince words: The would-be comedy "Tied to a Chair" is a chaotic mess. Rated: 0.5/4 May 27, 2011 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Insulting several nationalities and most of the filmgoing public, "Tied to a Chair" lurches through acting atrocities, continuity glitches and narrative gaps with grating insouciance. Rated: 0/5 May 26, 2011 Full Review Ethan Alter Film Journal International A potentially interesting premise is squandered by disappointing execution in this micro-budget indie comedy. Audience Member This movie is a perfect "sit on the edge of your seat" comedy. Very seldom do you have a film that gives power to a beautiful woman who doesn't fit in the "leading lady" age group. I give Ms. Loren a huge applause for her performance. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Charming, disarming and beguiling. Whether you are looking for a romantic comedy, intrigue, slapstick, or an adventure movie about terrorist attacks, Tied to a Chair fits the bill. Yes, this film covers quite a bit of territory. Bonnie Lorenâ(TM)s superb portrayal of a very fascinating woman will capture your imagination and your heart. Michael Bergmannâ(TM)s creation makes for an attention-grabbing, out of the ordinary movie going experience. I am not surprised to read that this film and the leading lady have garnered awards for this unconventional and delightful undertaking. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
