07/20/2022 A realistic but funny view on life from the perspective of an ex convict. See more 01/30/2022 i wasnt sure what to expect from this movie, but it was hilarious from start to finish, and it had real character development and a lot of good writing that was totally out of the blue given the slapstick tone that remains throughout the film. some of the humor is pretty low brow, but it's never really crude or offensive. i thought this was going to be a 70% at best, but i think it deserves more than a 90%. it's rare to see comedy movies of this variety really show out with a backbone to the script and solid performances all around. i was very surprised that it didn't devolve into nonsense later on like many movies of this genre, but instead followed through with a consistent pace and quality.
