David W I'm torn on this. There are some absolutely hilarious moments that made me belly laugh, so on that level it worked but many jokes are so weird that they fall flat and it's sometimes a slog getting to the nuggets. There are some entertaining cameos from SNL luminaries, John C Reilly and Will Ferrell especially provide some stand out moments. It's defiantly weird (maybe too weird to attain more than a cult following), gross out daftness certainly won't be to everyones taste but it's worth a watch to see what you think of this polarising comedy curio. I'd personally give it a 3.5 but my wife loved it and wanted to give it 4.5 so, a 4 it is then overall. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Matt G Stupid but very funny Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review Jibran S not even close to being as bad as these reviews seem to paint it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Audience Member How are you even supposed to rate something that is supposed to be insanely dumb and stupid? An Adult Swim sketch that should go on absolutely no longer than it already does. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This is what happens when people who are dreadfully dull get told that they are funny by their mates over and over again. Quite possibly the worst disaster I ever sat through. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member 5.75/10. I'm a pretty big T&E fan - Awesome Show is endlessly quoted in my house, Bedtime Stories should get another season, and few things make me giddier than the YouTube algorithm suggesting a T&E clip I haven't seen before. That said, their attempt at an anti-movie is difficult to sit through - not because of the off-the-wall surrealism that makes the duo's comedy so polarizing, but because it felt underwhelming and honestly kind of boring. It had plenty of funny moments and the most of cameos any T&E would expect are there, but their style of comedy just doesn't translate into longform. An episode of T&E feels like an absurd sprint - stretching it into a full marathon leaves it feeling like a labor. Those familiar with their work might say that's exactly the point; T&E realize the absurdity of them getting the funding for a film and are playing up how bad a decision that was. While I suspect that may be true, it doesn't make the movie any more enjoyable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jones Chicago Reader The laughs dry up even as the gross-out material grows more, uh, fluid. Mar 8, 2012 Full Review Cory Woodroof 615 Film Stuff like Dobis is right up the alley you’re used to. However, the transition to R-rated material and a feature-length format isn’t quite as seamless as you’d hope. John C. Reilly is hilarious as you’d think, though. Feb 2, 2023 Full Review Kelly Jane Torrance Washington Examiner Most of the Saturday Night Live-inspired movies proved that a joke that's funny in a five-minute sketch often isn't when it's stretched out to 90 minutes. Tim and Eric doesn't suffer from that problem. Rated: 3/4 Jan 4, 2019 Full Review Jamie Neish CineVue More-or-less abhorrent swill; vapid, painful and moronic in the way it treats its audience.
